The 2101 Series is a full size 1200 lbs. holding force electromagnet. It is designed for high security on sliding and swinging gates, or any door subjected to the elements. The 2101 Series is a full size 1200 lbs. holding force electromagnet. It is designed for medium to high security on out swinging doors when there is a need for a signal during an egress attempt. The early warning trigger (EWT) senses door movement while the electromagnet remains locked. In a typical installation, the door is normally closed and latched by the existing mechanical door hardware and magnetically secured by the 2101 Lock. Attempting to exit by applying 15 lbs. or less pressure to the door will cause the door to become unlatched, activating the EWT.
